Spinosaurini(=Spinosaurus aegyptiacus?) specimens.

Description

A compilation of specimens referred to Spinosaurini, the new clade named by Arden et al (2018), displaying their likely size ranges and growth stages. Ibrahim et al (2014, monograph forthcoming) refer all of these to Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, having been the first to even remotely come close to a conclusion on the material of ''Sigilmassasaurus''; since then, however, others have argued that S.brevicollis is a distinct taxon. Whether or not it is distinct from S.aegyptiacus, the specimens belonging to the brevicollis morphotype (B) are coded in red, while specimens from the aegyptiacus morphotype (A) are in blue and specimens with no overlap with either morphotype in purple. Discoveries range from Egypt to Morocco, with appearances in Algeria (Gara Samani), Tunisia, Libya, and even Kenya, though many of them are extremely fragmentary.

Guest appearance by the largest known (scientifically measured) hippo, Hippopotamus amphibius.
