Dinosaurs declining before the impact? Not so fast
In this journal, I am discussing the possibility of the dinosaurs supposedly in decline millions of years before the Chicxulub impact that led to their extinction, presented by Dr. Manubu Sakamoto. Though I'm quite fascinated by the possibility, I am frankly a bit skeptical in regards to the gradual extinction hypothesis. Why? Though dinosaur families did die out, they seemed to have a unique ability to create new groups without losing many others. Such can be said for ceratopsians, hadrosaurs, tyrannosaurids, maniraptorans and other coelurosaurs, and various other ornithischians and coelurosaurs. Proponents for the gradual extinction hav

Just sharing some results from my graphic double integration works on a few dinosaurs. They are done using a MATLAB script which takes 1-pixel wide slices.
